A plaster mixer/dispenser for moulds for making dentures, has a rotary valve at the conical base of the plaster storage container, and driven by a motor. Underneath this valve is a mixing chamber (20) enclosing a motor driven mixing paddle wheel (22). The wall of this chamber has perforations (50) for entry of water. A water supply line (48) is connected by channels to the perforations. At the bottom of the mixing chamber is an outlet (28) fitted with the metering and discharge valve (30) for dispensing very small amounts at a time. The diameter of the mixing chamber is approximately equal to the diameter of the inlet connection.
