Strip material unwinder for feeding press - has straightener block with sensor arm on coil preventing strip bending

The strip unwinder is used with a drawing and straightening machine for feeding strips into automatic presses, esp. for pressing small components. The arrangement prevents strip bending at sharp angles. The drawing and straightening blocks are hinged in front of the unwinder. A sensor arm in contact with the strip coils is connected by a roller on the drawing roller end and it is connected firmly with the drawing and straightening blocks. A contact roller is provided at the end of sensor arm for direct contact with the coil edge.
