The feed and cutting machine is for polyester and glass fiber strip with weight control and has a support (3) for the coil of material to be cut, pulling rollers (5,6) for unwinding the strip, together with protective plates (41). A motor-driven spindle (11) rewinds the upper plate (41) and a cutting support includes blades for cutting the strip longitudinally together with two blades mounted on a carriage. The carriage runs transversally and a set of rollers separates momentarily the lower lamina of the strip in the cutting zone. A weighing table is provided and a motor-driven spindle (32) rewinds the lower lamina. All the components of the machine are operated by a control unit.
