Automatic particulate material feeding appts. associated with a plastics processing machine has a feed hopper serving for drying the particulate material supplied with different size distribution and moisture content, the hopper interior being maintained at high positive pressure and its outlet subjected to high vacuum to provent agglomeration of particulate material and clogging of the hopper. High vacuum is produced by an ejector whose nozzle terminates in a Venturi duct.
