The non dazzling headlight for a motor vehicle, prevents dazzling other traffic. The headlight has a concave mirror designed so that the light is emitted in parallel beam. In front of the light beam is a lamellar grid which prevents direct view into the headlights. The distance between the lamellae is arranged so that they are parallel and the light passes in a parallel path through the grid. Lamella distortion is prevented by making them from glass or plastics. The headlight unit can be swivelled about its pivots. The headlight unit can be adjusted to be parallel with the road surface.
