The loudspeaker telephone set has a bistable flip flop (BK) connected to the voice signal control input (c) of the receive amplifier (EV). A series circuit is connected in parallel with the push-pull output stage (GE). This series circuits of a capacitor (C12) and a decoupling diode (G7). The capacitor is discharged via the flip flop and the pushpull output stage when the handset is raised. The capacitor supplies the flip flop, the receive amplifier and the push-pull output stage for a limited period of time.
