Hide fleshing system - with better machine utilisation by turning hides after half-finishing operation

A fleshing system for hides and skins is based on treating them on one-half first. The semi-finished articles are then returned to the loading station where they are attached to the over head feeding monorail alternating with untreated articles. After the second half has been fleshed a conveyor draws the finished product to a pallet. This shifts the time required for turning a hide to be combined with the return time so that the utilisation factor of the fleshing machine itself is much increased.
