Hanging rail for wardrobe has individually movable gliders. The gliders (a) are oblong in shape with either an oblong closed opening (b) or an opening on one of its long sides (e) to receive individual hangers. The width of the gliders insure that individual items of clothing cannot be crushed as hangers are never in contact with one another.
