Earth anchor with tubular shoe driver - has bayonet anchor rod coupling and rubber seal preventing grout spreading up outside of tube

The earth anchor system features stronger coupling between the pile shoe and the anchor rod and makes withdrawal of the tube easier. The pile shoe (3) is driven by a tube (4). The anchor rod (13) is inserted after the pile shoe has been driven, and locked to the shoe by a bayonet coupling (12). A spring (15) prevents accidental release of the coupling. The tube is partially withdrawn and grout (20) pumped in. A rubber cuff (19) prevents the grout spreading up the outside of the tube. The tube is then withdrawn entirely.
