The air conditioning plant is for use on house roofs in tropical/subtropical regions. Day time solar energy heats water and feeds it via a collector into a heat store, which returns it to the collector during night time for use. The collector consists of an inflatable synthetic ribbed ceiling, which simultaneously forms the roof material. The collector may consist of a transparent corrugated foil (1) which is welded to a black absorption foil (2). It has an integrated insulation (3) surrounded by a protective foil (4). The heat store consists of an insulated water tank, and/or is formed as a concrete block with cast-in exchanger tubes.
