Emulsions, e.g. non-stick agents for use in baking operations, are prepd. by combining the various raw materials of the emulsion through separate control valves to a common flow. This is directed through several mixer stages, each with a controlled admixture of water. This makes it possible to produce emulsions continuously instead of in batches, and to adjust their compositions easily to the varying requirements.
