Carton sheet cutting waste removal device - uses pins attached to links of endless chain and brush for removing engaged waste pieces

The machine for removing waste pieces is used in carton sheet cutting. Pointed pins are inserted into waste pieces and tilting pins remove waste from cut pieces. The arrangement operates accurately and with sheets of different sizes. The pins (2) are moved parallel to the precut carton sheet (1) travel. Pins and sheet move at exactly the same speed and pins are tilted away when the piercing is completed. The pins are arranged on links (3) of an endless chain. The pins engage with waste pieces and these are swept away from the pins by a rotating brush. The latter is arranged under lower span of the chain after the links have left return roller (23). Hence the pins are cleared before they reach the other drive roller (24).
