Individual advertisements on cards or placards (16) are fixed to a continuous broad belt that runs over rollers (14, 15). A small motor (17) may be set by selectors (18) to rotate and stop for a predetermined period on a particular line of cards. The cards to be displayed are inserted into a slot (20) and fall into a magazine where they are collected every few day and inserted onto blank positions on the belt. An additional short roll with printed information (21) may also be continuously rotated at low speed. The assembly is contained in a flat housing with transparent window apertures.
