The pulse generator, for controlling two pumps, exhibits no drift or non-linearity and consists of a chain of decade frequency dividers (24, 26, 28) dividing an input pulse train (100) in frequency. The outputs of the dividers are differenced (48) and the difference counted (54) and used to drive one pump stepping motor (62). The end output of the divider chain is counted separately (52) and used to drive the second pump stepping motor (58). The two pumps are located in different branches of the same fluid conveyance system.
