Feed device with a hydraulic brake, for pilgrim hot rolling mills, esp. for making materials for seamless tube has the hydraulic brake provided with supplementary openings formed on the fixed casing, having an interior with a parabolic profile. The opening and closing of the orifice are effected by angular displacement of an additional ring, provided with holes, and controlled by the pistons. A greater part of the hydraulic braking energy is recovered for reuse to help the rollers send the mobile masses back.
