The accessory equipment is intended for the preoperative fixing of fractures with the object of firm fastening. It has a frame adjustably mounted on the table, in which two or more supports, slide, these being lockable in a desired position. these supports have attachment elements for the fractured limb positioned under adduction and extension inside the frame, adjustable towards the frame centre and at right angles to the plane of it. The frame can be circular, and the attachment can be made by rods of X-ray transparent material supporting flexible straps round them and the limb, and sliding in sleeves on the supports. The frame can have a datum mark, cooperating with a scale on each sliding support.
