Rigid cover for filing folders - with spine reinforced by plastic band retained by small plates

The spine is reinforced and made more rigid by a plastic band, the length and width being equal to those of the spine. A pair of projections are attached to the spine which are fitted to one of the surfaces of the band. The latter is inserted in to corresponding apertures (4, 4') positioned on the spine (2) and retained by small plates positioned inside the spine and equipped with holes in a tight fit after insertion. The projections have a tooth facing outwards at their free end which fits into the holes of the small plates, to tension the filed folders.
