The file folder has two rigid covers, a rigid mount, and a unit that is arranged between the covers for fixing file folder contents. An active retaining mechanism is arranged on inner side of the rear covers for retaining a right upper corner of the file folder contents. The active retaining mechanism is formed by an elastic tension belt such that it extends diagonally across the right upper corner in the file folder arranged sheets.
