The filter is used for loud speakers. It has a pair of terminals (E1,E2) for connection to output terminals of an audio frequency amplifier. It also has a first set of terminals (A1,A2) for connection to a treble frequency loud speaker and a second set of terminals (G1,G2) for connection to a bass frequency loud speaker. A capacitor (C) in series with the treble loud speaker terminals (A1,A2) only allows treble frequency signals to pass. A resistor (R1) of low resistance in series with the bass frequency loud speaker terminals (G1,G2), and a resistor (R2) and another capacitor (C2) in parallel with the same terminals (G1,G2) to attenuate medium frequency signals. A capacitor (C1) is also used to prevent treble frequency signals reaching the bass frequency loud speaker terminals (G1,G2).
