The self-baking baking mould, esp. for baking cakes, pastry bases etc. comprises a bowl-like mould (1) of ceramics wherein electric heating elements (3) are embedded in the base (5) and/or side walls (4). The mould can be circular or square and fitted with a lid (2) which is pref. made of ceramics and contains an electric heating element (6). The mould can be ring-shaped, the centre core (9) having a recess (8) and the lid (2) a central rod and heating element (7) projecting into the recess (8). The individual heating elements can be connected up to the mains by switches (8, 9, 10, 13) so that different temperatures can be set.
