The construction element intended to be used for burners, seats balustrades railings, etc. in public spaces and buildings consists essentially of a ri beam composed from a metal profile (1) for example anodised aluminium or aluminium alloy which supports two bars of wood or plastic. The profile is shaped roughly in the form of a capital I and the bars are placed against the web of the profile. The bars having grooves so that they can slide w.r.t. the profile but not be pulled auxy. There is a clearance between the bars and profile allowing rain water to drain away. To construct railings, for example the profiles can have slots stamped out to allow the passage of cross members.
