The seeding planter has a distributor disc on which are mounted supports, the latter each including a pivoted locking rod which is hollow at its upper end. The rod carries an elastic stop cooperating with a cam to control its planting mechanism. The latter has an assembly which is shaped to remove the seedlings from a platform on the machine. The platform is pref. at the rear of the machine, and at a height equal to that of the axis of the disc. The platform may be horizontal or inclined.
