Lamination stacking fixture for electrical transformers - is used to form mortice and tenon joints of stacks to make up transformer cores

A fixture is used in the manufacture of lamination stacks for electrical transformers. It is used with laminations which have mortice and tenon assembly. The laminations are guided on the fixture (1) and against separation guides (5, 5'). Movement of the laminations is by gravity or by vibrations. The fixture (1) has rollers (8) to support the laminations and has spacers (7) to provide spacing between laminations. The separation guides (5, 5') have a bevel face. The bevel face is at 45 degree to the base of the fixture. The bevel faces are in two different planes and each face is in a different plane to the adjacent faces.
