Printed textile web steam fixing appts. having a main conveyor for the web is provided with an auxiliary conveyor to which is attached a test sample of the printed web for passage through the steaming chamber during a predetermined time interval. Test samples of any size can be fed through the chamber and fixing operation can be accurately controlled.
