A loud-speaker reflex enclosure has a high acoustic efficiency, as well as good bass frequency performance. The reflex enclosure has a front face(2) with an opening for a loud-speaker(4). The loud-speaker(4) has its coil facing a baffle(7). The baffle(7) has an ellipsoidal shape with one of its focal points at the coil(5) of the loud-speaker(4). The other focal point is at the centre of a vent opening(6). The lower side(9) of the vent has a paraboloidal shape and the upper side(10) is plane. The enclosure reflex surfaces(7, 9, 10) may be made of injection moulded plastic.
