The sighting device for directing gun fire has a housing with a rear opening for the observer and containing two plane mirrors at 45 deg. which direct the line of sight forwards to a reticule plate at the front, at a lower level. This plate is circular, and can be rotated about a spindle in the middle. This plate carries a set of four reticule discs to suit different types of target. Two discs are for stationary targets, another is for moving targets, with two crossing hairlines, and another is for underwater targets. The device can be used with a television camera.
