Boot with straight leg - has curved and shaped supplementary piece fixed into leg just above heel

The leg (1) of the boot is straight from the heel (3) up and has a supplementary piece (5) fixed inside the leg, just above the heel bone of the users foot. This is shaped to fit the curve between the heel and the back of the leg, at the height of the ankle. The piece is thicker at the centre (6) and narrows at each end (7, 8) and is curved to fit round the users leg. It is fixed to the interior of the boot during manufacture.
