The bicycle parking stand comprises a frame with one or more straight or curved legs (A) and a broad base (B) which in combination with the rear wheel prevents the bicycle from falling over, being directly or indirectly fixed to the vehicle frame. The resultant action is that the front wheel moves so far from the ground upwards that the angle between the ground and the longitudinal axis of the bicycle is so large (in practice between 45 and 90 degrees) that the center of gravity of the bicycle is so far displaced backwards that it is possible to speak of a vertical parking stand.
