Three roll head for tube-reducing plant - having driven roll and geared rolls with radial and thrust bearings

The three roll head is used in stretching reducing rolling plant. One of the rolls is driven and remaining rolls coupled by bevel gears. The rolls are arranged around the circumference of the tube to be rolled and each roll has double bearings. The compact rolling head ensures high compressive loads on the tube. The second and third working rolls are held in bearings of different sizes on the inclined shafts. The larger bearing is arranged close to the associated bevel gear and can be arranged within the bevel gear and the smaller bearing is situated within the working roller. The inclined shafts each have a collar and thrust bearings; and larger thrust bearing being arranged adjacent to the larger bearing.
