The splint is designed to hold a fracture of the collar bone and comprises a tee shaped harness, the horizontal arms (1) each having an adjustable pad (5). The outer ends (4) of these arms have a quick action hooked fastener (8) and pass around the chest of the wearer for adjustment and fastening at the front. The vertical position (1) of the harness has a short length (9) on each side of its lower end. These short lengths are brought upwards and have a similar hooked plastics material fastening (4) onto shoulder straps (3) on the horizontal arms.
