Arc-welding mask with fume collector - has extractor connected to fume collecting section in front of mask via flexible pipe

The fume collector is for use when arc-welding, and fits on a protective mask. On the front face of the mask (1) are a set of devices (3, 4, 8, 9) guiding the fumes to a chamber, from which they are exhausted by an individual extractor or via a flexible pipe (5) to an extraction manifold, allowing complete freedom of movement to the operator. The fumes can be collected via a double wall on the front face of the mask, with a suction intake, concentric to the visor and of at least the same size. There can alternatively be a cowl on the front of the mask to avoid any dispersal of fumes round the sides.
