The metallic particles may be formed from chromium, copper, tin, lead, zinc, iron, nickel, chromium, cobalt, antimony, silver, beryllium, bismuth, cadmium, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, zirconium or their alloys of which numerous are specified. The specific Examples describe the coating of aluminium particles using heptane as solvent with a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and acrylonitrile (1,2,3,4) ethylene glycol polydimethacrylate (8), and a copolymer of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and N - methyl - 2 - (2 - polyfluoroethyl - sulphonyl - amino) - ethylacrylate (10); the coating of aluminium particles using methanol as solvent with stearyl polymethacrylate (7); and the coating of brass particles using heptane as solvent with ethyleneglycol polydimethacrylate (6).
