1519008 Knocking-up devices HEIDELBERGER DRUCKMASCHINEN AG 14 Oct 1975 [25 April 1975] 42028/75 Heading B8R A knocking-up device 5, movable towards and away from the stack 2 on spindle 8 carried in bushing 12 attached to bearing 13, is tiltable upwardly when engaged by the stacking pallet 2 so as to actuate a switch 22 and stop the pallet raising device. The device 5 is normally reciprocated by engagement of a ball bearing 16 with a cam 17 which acts in opposition to a compression spring 24. Upon contact of the device with a pallet which has been raised too far the bearing 13 tilts and arm 21 attached thereto actuates the switch. Compression spring 20 normally maintains the bearing in a horizontal disposition.
