PURPOSE:To provide an easily operable washing machine by indicating all the steps of the fully automatic washing machine with lamps and clarifying the contents of the programs prepared in the washing machine by an input switch and display lamps in correspondence therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The operation indicator R of this fully automatic washing machine incorporates 12 display lamps, 5 for washing steps, 4 for rinsing steps, and 3 for draining steps. The respective lamps in the indicator R flash or light by corresponding to the operation zone as designated below. That is, they light according to the step determined by the combination of six steps (of serious dirts, normal dirts, light dirts, etc.) of fully automatic cycle operation 30 and five steps (of washing only, rinsing to dehydrating, washing to rinsing, draining, dehydrating, etc.) of program operation 40.
