GRAIN DETECTING APPARATUS EQUIPPED IN GRAIN RESERVING TANK

PURPOSE:To provide a grain detecting apparatus equipped in a grain reserving tank, which comprises a detector or sensor having a grain pressure detecting section that depends in the grain reserving tank like a temple bell, such that an electric contact can be closed when the grain pressure detecting section is acted by grain pressure from any direction. CONSTITUTION:Sensor 6 is made of a rod-like member 8 having sensor blades 7 at its bottom and it is depended in a grain reserving tank like a temple bell. Position of the sensor blades 7 is selected such that it is spaced from the side wall of tank and located at the level that is reached by the grain surface when it is fully loaded in the tank. As to electric circuit 9, on the other hand, minus electrode of power source 10 is connected to sound alarm 11 and alarm lamp 12 which are in turn earthed to the body of appatatus, whereas its plus electrode is connected to contact 13 of sensor 6. As the tank is fully loaded with grain, pressure is acted to sensor blades 7 by grain and sensor 6 is moved against its own weight. When contact 13 comes into contact with ring contact 14, electric circuit 9 is closed and conducts, whereupon alarm 11 is sounded and alarm lamp 12 is lighted.
