PURPOSE:To unify the charging amount of the grain by a method wherein an openable partitioning plate is provided in an opening and closing gutter covering around a screw conveyor at each boundary between the tanks in the captioned device in which a horizontal screw conveyor is provided traversingly at the upper position of the plural reserving tanks installed in juxtaposed manner. CONSTITUTION:The reserving tanks 1-4 are provided in parallel in mutually connected conditions and the horizontal feed screw conveyor 9 is installed at the upper position of respective tanks 1-4. The partitioning plates 11, movable upwardly and downwardly in respective shutter cases provided at the end positions of respective tanks 1-4 with respect to the conveying direction of the conveyor 9, are attached to the gutter around the screw conveyor. The conveyance of the grain by the conveyor 9 is intercepted by moving the partitioning plate 11 upwardly by a proper driving means. When the conveyance is intercepted by the partitioning plate 11, a spring 20 is compressed simultaneously with the upward movement of the partitioning plate 11 and thereby opening the opening and closing gutter 17 against a balance weight 22 in accordance with the pressure of the grain, thus, the device is constituted so as to be capable of filling the tanks 1-4 with the grain through inflow ports 14.
