PREHEATING SYSTEM FOR AIR FOR COMBUSTION IN HOT STOVE

PURPOSE:To make the temperature of the preheated air constant, by detecting the temperature of the preheated air entering into the hot stove for blast furnace and regulating the amount of exhaust gas at the bypass to the air preheater from the flue. CONSTITUTION:The air for combustion to be sent to the hot stove 1 enters into the air preheater 17 passing throgh the blower 9 and the duct 10 and is heated with the waste gas of high temperature from the hot stove 1. The heated air 11 enters into the hot stove 1 passing through the main pipe 12 and the branch pipe 18 for the air for combustion, and heats the bricks for heat regeneration by burning the combustion gas. A part of its waste gas 4 goes to the stack 6 passing through the damper 5 and, at the same time, another part of the waste gas 4 gets away to the stack 6 passing through the air preheater 17 with the bypass 7. AT this time, by measuring the temperature of the preheated air 11 with the temperature detector 13, comparing the measured temperature with the value of the temperature setter 15 and issuing the signal from the controller 14 for combustion according to that temperature difference, the opening degree of the damper 5 is regulated. With this regulation, the amount of the waste gas 4 to be bypassed is changed, so that the temperature of the preheated air 11 can be kept constant always and the amount of coke oven gas for combustion can be saved.
