FLAW PART DISPLAY METHOD AND FLAW PART DISPLAY DEVICE IN HOT FLAW DETECTING MATERIALS

PURPOSE:To enable the operator to rapidly check flaw parts by blowing cooling water to the flaw parts of the flaw detecting material. CONSTITUTION:When a flaw detecton signal A and a flaw size detection signal B are outputted from a driving circuit 2a according to the flow detection operation of flow detector 2, a cooling part driving circuit 5a is energized by the flaw detection signal A to drive a cooling part 5. As a result, the cooling part 5 actuates at a specified timing to blow cooling water out through its blow out nozzle to the flaw part 3' thereby cooling the flaw part 3'. Next, a display driving circuit 6a is energized by the flaw size detection signal B, by which a display part 6 is actuated and the flaw part 3'' which has already been cooled in the cooling part 5 and has moved to the dotted line position in the fiqure is detected with the detecting means. In a color selecting means, water soluble paint of a specified color is selected according to the signal B and this paint is coated over the entire circumference of the flaw part 3'' by a coating means.
