PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and surely judge whether the flaw of a liquid crystal display exceeds an allowable limit or not and to prevent a judging personual from causing a personal difference on the judged result. ;SOLUTION: A display 8 is photographed by an image pickup means (camera) 9, a photographed image is reproduced on the monitor screen 1 of an information processor (computer) 3, and templates 14, 15 having the prescribed color, shape and size as flaw judgment references and capable of being optionally changed in position by the input actions of an input means (mouse) 6 are displayed. The templates 14, 15 are moved to the position of the flaw of the image on the monitor screen 1 overlappingly on it (or in parallel with it) for judgment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
