There are prepared compounds of the formula IMAGE (II) in which T is the theophyllin-7-yl group and alk is a straight or branched alkylene chain with 2 to 4 carbon atoms and salts thereof. The compounds promote circulation and produce a marked and persistent increase in renal circulation.
