A dimeric indole-dihydroindolecarboxamide of the formula IMAGE in which the substituents are defined in Claim 1, is prepared. This compound is obtained by reacting a corresponding dimeric indole-dihydroindolecarboxazide with an amine in order to introduce the group -NR4R5. The resulting product is isolated as a free amine or as a pharmaceutically tolerated salt. The resulting compounds can be used as antineoplastic active compounds.
