The seed drill has a hopper which has a number of outlet chutes and a stirrer. Above the hopper is a seed dressing spreader, whose container has several outlet chutes which can be shut off and line up with the hopper chutes in the vertical plane. Drivable feeders project through the outlet orifices on a shaft. The feeders (12) are outside the pick-up container (10), each in a housing (18) open at the bottom. They are disc-shaped and have cams on their outer circumference. The width of the feeders (12) and their cams is smaller - by only the size of a sliding fit - than the inner spacing of the side walls of the housing (18). Closing caps (20) are provided on the housings (18) to shut off the outlet chutes (11) and these cover the parts of the feeders (12) projecting out of the housings (18).
