SECURITY REGULATION FOR HISSES SPECIFIC TO SADANA WITH COOKING STOCK

The safety stopping mechanism is used for lifts with rack drive for works and building sites. The pinion engages with the rack for speed monitoring. The pinion drives centrifugal masses which brake the lift on exceeding allowed speed. This brake system acts on lift movements in both directions. The shaft has sleeve with internal screw thread and external screw thread of opposite direction. The external screw thread carries a speed monitoring element with centrifugal weights. This body is moved along by the screw on blocking by dished spring against axially moving brake disc. Steadily increasing braking effect is built up by reaction disc and an additional brake disc up to the stop of the lift cage.
