A B S T R A C TIn a self cleaning enclosure for production oflivestock including hogs an enclosed slightly conical cir-cular surface is disclosed which includes a scraper extend-ing radially outward over the enclosed surface and rotationalover the surface to effect cleaning and sanitization of thesurface. The scraper includes a conveyor system which may beout of direct contact with the surface and which carries thewaste material outward along the scraper to a trench encircl-ing the enclosed surface and serving as a depository for thewaste. A trench scraper is carried with the surface scraper,and extends into the trench for moving the waste to a localizedoutlet for removal of the waste from the trench. A motorcauses rotation of the scraper around the surface and alsocauses operation of the conveyor system.
