Reaction product of nickel thiobis(alkylphenolate) and thiobisphenol or thiobis(alkylphenol) and organic compositions containing the same

Nickel (II) thiobis (alkylphenolate) complexes with thiobisphenols orthiobis (alkylphenols) are novel complexes having improved antioxidant propeties which are useful in a wide range of organic media such as lubricants and plastics. These novel complexes also provide energy quenching characteristics to such organic compositions.
