Series to parallel converter for telegraphy signals - has front edge triggered oscillator, differentiator and counter circuits feeding AND=gate outputs
Series to parallel converter for telegraphy signals - has front edge triggered oscillator, differentiator and counter circuits feeding AND=gate outputs
The series/parallel converter for telex and telegraph exchanges includes an oscillator (OSC) synchronised with the leading edge of the input signal pulses to generate a square wave signal of double the frequency of the input signal. A counter (CONT) fed from the oscillator has one more stage than the number ofbits in the received pulse frame. - A differentiator stage (D) is also fed from the oscillator to form the square wave signal into a pulse train of the same frequency. The input, differentiator, circuit and counter are connected by way of a group of coincidence circuits (C1,-C5) to a series of output devices (OU). The converter includes a sync. circuit (CS) and a release circuit (T) to return the arrangement to the quiescent state.
