Radio repeater for FM communications system - frequency multiplies second intermediate frequency signal for transmission and uses solid state circuitry

The radio repeater station, for FM communications systems, uses second IF signals from the reciever as source for the outgoing signal. The receiver IF stage includes a feedback frequency divider. - The second IF signals are first converted in a mixer (18) to a higher frequency and then frequency multiplied by the same factor as was used for division down to the IF plane. The multiplied signals are finally amplified and transmitted (23). The consumption of dc power is also reduced.
