A coaxial HF cable is constructed with a single inner conductor (1). There is an outer conductor arranged concentrically around the inner conductor with intermediate concentric foamed-plastics material dielectric. The outer conductor (3) is made from a metal tube that is corrugated such that its wave crests and troughs run transversely to the cable axis. - The cable (10) is designed so that the inter-space formed between the cable core and the corrugated outer conductor is effectively sealed against ingress of water etc., without the need for any additional material. The corrugations of the outer conductor are so dimensioned that the troughs of the wave-like corrugations slightly press into the surface of the foamed-plastic dielectric (2).
