Lightweight porous cement slab moulding method - uses divider sheets which form integral surfaces when removed from mould with slabs

A method of moulding slab shaped members of light weight porous concrete includes dividing the mould (1) into a set of compartments (2) of the size required for the slabs, by means of longitudinal division plates (3) which remain attached to the slabs when they are removed from the mould. Thus the dividers themselves form a permanent part of the slabs, and may form decorative surfaces. - Single plates or double plates may be used to, give single or double surfaces for each slab, and edge members may be included. Where thin films form the decorative surfaces, support plates may be included between each pair of films.
