Co-ordinate switch for telephone exchanges - has adjustable intersecting switch bars with coupling elements at intersection points

The telephone exchange cross bar switch has switching bars, adjustable in the coordinate direction and intersecting. At the intersection points are mounted coupling elements, the switching bars being resettable into their starting position by resetting springs. The latter are in the form of a double helical spring, abutting a counter bearing by their respective connecting strips. Preferably the double helical springs are inserted into a chamber of a cross bar switch frame. In such instance the connecting strip of each double helical spring abuts the frame chamber wall. The application of double helical springs of this type obviates any additional leverage for the selector bar in resetting.
